Continuing its collaboration with the Marketing Department of the Cyprus University of Technology, Blackbook Agency was once again invited to deliver a series of masterclasses on Branding and Digital Strategy, bridging academic theory with real-world practice.
Dr. Maria Voutsa is currently a Special Teaching Staff member in the Department of Communication and Marketing at the Cyprus University of Technology, the sessions are part of an ongoing educational partnership that aims to inspire and equip the next generation of marketing professionals with practical insights into the world of branding, communication, and digital transformation.
Why These Masterclasses Matter
For Eleftheria Voskaridou, Managing Director at Blackbook Agency, the reason behind accepting this invitation each year lies in a deeply personal and yet profesional belief, that education should not stop at theory.
“It is very important for students to understand what their studies are truly about and how they connect to real career life. I find it essential to love what you do, and the only way to discover that is by connecting theory with experience. Too often, people enter the job market without knowing what to expect. Through these sessions, I want to help reduce the surprises on both sides, to support, guide, and inspire. Most of all, I want to ignite passion for this field and help students see the opportunity that lies in what they’re studying today.”
This philosophy shapes the structure and purpose of the masterclasses, not just as lectures, but as interactive conversations that bring marketing to life.
Part I — A Masterclass in Branding: From Theory to Practice

The first session explored the lifecycle of a brand, from conceptual foundations to market application. It was presented by Sophia Efstathiou, Head of Branding at Blackbook, who guided students through real-world case studies that illustrated how strategic thinking and creativity work together to build strong, consistent brands.
Through topics such as The Circle of Branding, From Brief to Brand Identity, Developing Brand Guidelines, and Branding in the Digital Era, Sophia demonstrated the process behind transforming ideas into coherent, living brand identities that perform in today’s market.
Part II — A Masterclass in Digital Strategy: From Data to Impact

The second session extended the conversation into the digital realm.
Presented by Katerina Lambrou, Head of Digital Strategy at Blackbook, the session explored how data, creativity, and content come together to deliver measurable impact. Covering The Circle of Digital Strategy, From Brief to Campaign, Developing the Digital Playbook, and Navigating Trends Across Platforms, Katerina used case studies from Blackbook’s portfolio to demonstrate how strategy and performance align to build meaningful digital narratives and brand engagement.
Bridging Theory and Practice
Through these annual masterclasses, Blackbook continues to strengthen its relationship with the academic community, offering students a deeper understanding of how marketing theory translates into creative, strategic, and measurable outcomes.
This ongoing collaboration with the uni reflects Blackbook’s broader mission, to share knowledge, inspire creativity, and cultivate the next generation of marketing professionals who will shape the industries of tomorrow.
